CONTEMPORARY ARTS INSPIRED BY ROBERT BURNS

25 January - 10 March 2018 @ Summerhall, Edinburgh

Ciara Veronica Dunne

Ciara Veronica Dunne has lived and worked in Edinburgh since 2010. The detailed, mysterious work of the artist deals with cinematic memory, magic in culture and uncanny humour. She works across a spectrum of media, using a monochromatic palette on board, paper and walls to bring her figurative and poetic world alive. Her drawing and mural work has been exhibited/commissioned in Dublin, Edinburgh, Cork, Belfast, Liverpool, London, Chicago and Rome. She was an invited artist at the Crack On! Festival of Graphic Artists, Rome 2012 and has received Arts Council of Northern Ireland SIAP Award for Individual Art Practice 2009.
